Ivanhoe Estate
Ivanhoe Estate is a proposed integrated social housing development from architects Batessmart and Candalepas, including residential properties, community facilities, a high school, retail and green space.
MGAC has been engaged to deliver access consulting services for Ivanhoe Estate located in Macquarie Park, Sydney. We will work alongside Frasers Property Australia and Citta Property Group from concept stage through to design development and construction sign off.
Once completed, the Ivanhoe Estate will include 950 social housing and 128 affordable housing dwellings. All dwellings will be assessed under LHA Silver Level. This means that the build will be assessed according to key structural and spatial elements critical to ensure future flexibility and adaptability.
New Footscray Hospital
MGAC has been engaged by Multiplex to help deliver across all stages of the $1.5B New Footscray Hospital, the largest ever health infrastructure in Victoria.
Our involvement commenced at the pre-bid and design development stages. We have since commenced the post-bid stage of design and will progressively work through to construction completion, while actively bringing in innovative accessible solutions and ideas to achieve valuable outcomes. Our expert consultants are playing an integral role in creating this state-of-the-art health facility, ensuring that it is connected, inclusive, welcoming, and safe.
Set for completion in 2025, the new facility has been designed by Cox Architecture and Billard Leece Partnership to include more than 500 inpatient beds, acute facilities, specialist facilities, grounds, gardens and associated site and external infrastructure as well as approximate 5000 sqm of dedicated Victorian University research and education space. Additionally as part of this project, a stand alone facility, the Tiernan Street Building will include commercial opportunities providing services for the benefit for the community.
